John Coltrane - Coltrane stretched the boundaries of jazz with new harmonic ideas. His “Coltrane changes” on his featured albums - “Giant steps” and “Coltrane sound” are considered monumental moments, “stepping” up and challenging the jazz world with a whole new direction. Later experimenting on the edge and outside the fundamental jazz tradition and exploring the “Free” style with his Albums “A love supreme”, “Meditation” and others… Coltrane was always searching for new artistic developments in his music, a search that by the end of his career became more spiritual then anything else. These days, One cannot study jazz without at least acknowledging his great Accomplishments, he is a musical giant!
